Job Title

I am currently working at Barnes & Noble, as I have been for almost 5 years. I recently resigned from a two-year supervisor position to a bookseller position so I could focus all my time and energy on my schoolwork as a freshman at Concordia University at Austin.

Key responsibilities

My first year as a supervisor, I was in charge of the Children’s Department. My job was to set up all of the displays for that section and make sure it was aesthetically pleasing. After a year I switched to the Fiction Department where my duties were very similar. Now my responsibilities as a bookseller are to help the customer find whatever book they are looking for, ring them up and make sure the store is not littered with “stray” books.
